Andrews, page 2
This  is the front door of the barracks of Company B.
Except for the sign at the bottom, these are snapshots taken by Bruce Ford, FSBVG webmeister.
This is how my stuff on my side of my barracks room looked, neat, soldierly, impersonal.
This is my room mate, Roger Wilcox, and his cool side of the room.  He had been there a long while when I moved in, and stayed a long time after I left for Engineer OCS.  We seldom spoke to each other.  We worked in different sections, so had no need to know anything about each other, I guess.  Sorry we didn't get to know each other, Roger.
I was impressed by this English Tudor style house in the neighborhood while walking around Gross-Lichterfelde.
This is the pool at Andrews.  It was built for the 1936 Olympics.
It had this incredibly high diving platform!
Lest we forget that there was something before "Field Station Berlin," shown at right is the sign that was once at Andrews Barracks to indicate the Orderly room of the 280th US ASA Co.  This was before FS Berlin existed as a unit.
